L. Plummer Media is an African American-owned full-service production company based in Los Angeles.
The company’s Founder and CEO, Lemuel O. Plummer had a first look deal with BET Networks, producing for several series, including The Mo’nique Show and The Family Crews, and creating and executive producing the docu-series, Vindicated. In the last several years, Lemuel has produced for WeTV’s hit show, Mary Mary, executive produced BET’s The Sheards, co-created and executive produced a pilot for Bravo, The Lewis Family, and a pilot for BET called Hip-Hop Sisters. Currently, he is the co-creator and executive producer of two of Oxygen Network’s smash hit series, Preachers of L.A. and Preachers of Detroit. The third series in the Preachers franchise, Preachers of Atlanta, is scheduled for air in 4Q, 2015.
In addition, Lemuel is also the creator and executive producer of the docu-series Comedians of L.A., currently in production and, for the first time ever in broadcasting, scheduled to air simultaneously on two different networks—Esquire and Oxygen.
